WHAT IS NTA 8776?

One of the safest helmets out there, the Intercity Mips is NTA 8776 certified – the world’s first safety certification for E-bike helmets. The NTA-certification confirms that the MET Intercity dissipates significantly more impact energy compared to a standard helmet. An NTA EPS shell has 10% more impact-tested coverage around the two most sensitive brain areas: the back and the temples.

Wind Shield

With a wide, adjustable visor to protect from wind, dust and insects, it’s never been easier for urban commuters to reach their destinations fresh-faced. The windshield is made with tough polycarbonate, and quick to remove on the days when you don’t need the extra barrier.

Light up the night

A MET Magnetic USB Led Light is attached onto the upper rear part of the helmet to ensure the highest level of visibility in all conditions. A magnetic system gives a simple, secure attachment to the helmet shell and makes it easy to remove the light and recharge the battery using a Micro-USB port.

COMFORT

The Intercity Mips is exceptionally comfortable and secure on the head thanks to a refined internal shape and the new MET Safe-T Heta fit system which offers an all-round adjustment and an individual fit. Straps are well positioned and customisable due the the adjustable divider engineered ingeniously for ease of use and reliability.

FIDLOCK® MAGNETIC BUCKLE

The magnetic Fidlock® strap fastening system makes securing the helmet simple, while the padded chin strap ensures a soft-touch on the skin.

MIPS® PROTECTION SYSTEM

Featuring the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, the MET Intercity Mips is able to slide relative to the head in case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. MIPS is a rotational management system—engineered to add protection to the standard construction of helmets in case of certain impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet between the comfort padding and the EPS.
